I brought my vehicle in for a tire balance and alignment and did not have either completed. My truck is lifted with a negative offset on the tires. I was informed that due to this, they can not perform the requested maintenance. I was still presented with a bill. When I questioned why they replied with, because the technician put it on the lift and then realized it could npt be done. Looking at my vehicle it is clear that it has a lift and negative offset. The charge was 78% of what the original cost would have been and it was labeled on the receipt as a suspension diagnostic, which I never requested. I asked for the print out of the reading on the alignment and was told there was none. Needless to say I will not be returning here for service and will be reporting them to the Virginia Attorney General as a consumer complaint.
Ms. Amanda, We apologies for the situation you face here at Napa BP. As per the database your Chevy Tahoe 2007 was scheduled for a Groupon Alignment which was not presented at the scheduled time. Service Manager had to open the repair order as a Regular 4 wheel alignment and you ask to add tire rotation as well. Both labor time came up 1 hr and 40 minutes. Upon lifting your truck on Rotary 7 feet wide alignment rack tech found unable to align due to after market suspension with offset tires 60% out from rack. Tech also had diagnostics and charged 1/2 hr as requested such as steering rack mount bushing worn with left front upper B/J excessive play. Please call the shop 7573016399 and ask for Tim to resolve the situation. Thank you
