I have 4 vehicles for state inspection, but if it pass depends on how they feel on the day. My car had marks made by rocks while driving off road and was failed requiring $2700 of tires. These are 315/40/22 so its expensive. The state code does not mention that (1) this consitute failure (2) it is irrepairable. These are not RFT. I send an email since I was out of the country and gave them chance to respond, but they did not bother responding. My air filters required replacement and a few other recommended services (which was done a couple of weeks ago) which means that they copy/paste a bunch of stuff without even looking! I would not trust them.
Gerhard, I tried to look up your information at both shops as customer so I can see what we are looking to replace for inspection and the recommendations you mentioned however, I could not find you any where as Gerhard Lamprecht in both database. You reviewed a wrong shop or may have in different name. Our Techs specially Mr. Julean wont recommend until he physically sees the part and shows to the customer if present in the office. Let us know if you brought vehicle under different name.
